The treatment is not easy, but on the whole I liked everything. The attitude is wonderful and attentive. I did not make a video, nor photos of the treatment room. There is not much to photograph here — a modest clinic without grounds.
I really want to leave a review not only about this clinic, but also about this travel agency. Nina was my contact. My sister, my niece and I were supposed to go, but since some of the flights were cancelled, I went to this clinic alone. Before departure from Moscow my flight was delayed, and I wrote to Nina about it, saying that I would most likely miss the connection in Abu Dhabi and would message her the moment I landed. In the end I did miss the connection and wrote to Nina at once, but she replied only 13!!! hours later (I had written to her at 8 in the morning). Meanwhile my sister called the agency five times in one day, explained the situation, and was promised that Nina would call back, but she never did. As a result I arrived in India a day after the scheduled date. On checking in at the clinic a young man helped me with my luggage and said he would be my doctor. This did not inspire confidence straight away, as he looked to be only a little over 20. At his appointment the next morning I set out all the health problems I wanted to treat. I was told they would treat digestive problems (I have coeliac disease). Fine, I agreed to that too, although I had originally wanted to address not one health problem but several. I do not have the time or the money to keep travelling to India and treat each problem separately.
When paying for the accommodation and treatment, I was told that, since Nina had not reported in time that I had missed the connecting flight because of the delay leaving Moscow, the transfer had set out for me and I had to pay for it. I agreed that the clinic should not suffer because of Nina’s attitude to her clients, and agreed to pay for the extra transfer. The doctor was very pleased and first charged me 50$, then recalculated and named an extra 200$ for the transfer! At this point I did not agree, since two transfers were already counted in my voucher and I clearly should not be paying for five transfers.
On the treatment: I have no complaints about the massages and procedures. Everything was of the highest standard. As for the treatment itself, my feelings are very mixed. In fact, almost the whole time I was in the clinic I was given medicines for problems that had arisen because of the cleansing I was undergoing at the clinic. They only began to address my actual health problem in the last 4 days at the clinic (out of 13 days). The medicines were prescribed for just 1 month. After them everything is supposed to improve. I took the medicines and noticed no changes. After treatment at Dr Franklin’s clinic, the treatment here is not serious. Few medicines are prescribed, and no recommendations on diet or treatment are given on discharge from the clinic. The doctor constantly goes back on his word (in the morning he says yes, you may, and in the evening he comes and says you may not). The doctor is clearly inexperienced, and I do not understand why he is allowed to treat patients.
Hello, Yulia.
Thank you for your detailed review. We are sincerely sorry that the start of your trip was so stressful, and that our communication in the situation with the delayed flight and the rescheduled transfer was not prompt or clear enough.
On the transfer: we have looked into this situation within the team. A personal reply to the client was indeed given with a significant delay, and we understand that on the road, with a missed connection and a changed route, this created additional strain. At the same time it is important to clarify that the situation itself was not left unattended: communication with the clinic was ongoing, information about the change of arrival was passed on, and a new transfer was requested. Our mistake was that the client did not receive timely and clear updates on the status of resolving the matter.
It is also important to note that in your case the arrival was not in Kochi but in Trivandrum, so the transfer was longer and the driver set out in advance. At the moment the message was read, already within our working hours, the driver was sent on his way. Nevertheless, we understand that for a client in such a situation the most important thing is timely communication and a sense of being looked after. Here we really should have done better.
As for the additional transfer costs: since the situation arose against the background of insufficiently transparent communication on our side, we have already refunded you the amount of the additionally paid transfer.
On the medical side: your comments about the consultations, the contradictory recommendations, the lack of detailed recommendations on discharge and the general sense of insufficient attention to the stated problems we will pass on to the management of the “Dheemahi Nilimangalam” clinic and request an official comment from them.
Thank you for describing your experience in detail. This is important feedback for us: we are already revising the procedure for communicating with clients in situations of delays, rescheduled flights and changes of transfer, so that such cases do not recur.
Yours sincerely,
the Panchakarma Club team
I thank Olga and all the company’s staff for their help in making a good choice of clinic, for the support and the help in resolving my questions to do with my stay at the clinic and my arrival in India! Thank you for your work 🙏
Review of the clinic:
I am very glad and grateful to all the clinic’s staff for the professionalism, attention and hospitality they showed!!!! Everything was heartfelt and masterly, to a “business class” standard 💪 As for my own condition, it has improved noticeably and tangibly, which I wish for everyone who decides to go through Panchakarma at this clinic.
Hello. My name is Yana and this is my review of the Dheemahi Nilimangalam Ayurvedic centre. I was at the clinic for 13 days from 22 May 2024. I loved everything!! I was met like a treasured guest. The clinic’s staff are very attentive and friendly, surrounding you with care and attention. Lovely, smiling women cook amazing food. The room is clean and comfortable. The procedures during the day are scheduled in advance, so you can plan your time. I was left deeply impressed by the clinic and would like to return for a longer period. I hope so! The Panchakarma Club manager, Nina, helped me overcome my hesitation in the early stages — thank you for the wonderful holiday and the new experience!!
My name is Farzana Saifulina, I am from Ufa and I am 63. From 15 February to 7 March I was in the south of India, in the state of Kerala, and completed a therapeutic wellness course, Panchakarma. I am very pleased with my stay at the Dheemahi Nilimangalam hospital in the town of Kottayam, which the Panchakarma Club manager Olga recommended to me! I am very grateful to her for the work done, for her professionalism and responsibility. You could say she accompanied me from the moment the room at the clinic was booked until the moment I crossed the hospital threshold.
I visited the Dheemahi Neelamangalam clinic in July 2019 and decided to share my experience and write a review of this Panchakarma clinic. It's a wonderful place with very attentive and caring staff, which you feel from the very first minute.
The living conditions are very good: a clean and comfortable room, a good mattress on the bed, daily cleaning, and frequent linen changes.
The meals are 3 times a day, vegetarian, tasty and varied enough, but everything, in my opinion, is spicy, but you get used to it quickly!)) Every day there are either fresh fruits or fresh juices made from watermelon, mango, and pineapple.
Every day is packed with procedures, massages, and yoga twice a day. It's very full on! ))
The clinic is located near the motorway, but you could walk to a beautiful church nearby or go to the town centre. One time I went (with a lot of help from the staff!) to a beautiful place, Kumarakom, where there are picturesque canals and nature, and you can go boating.
The treatment was above and beyond praise! My therapists, Nisha and Bincy, are very pleasant, diligent, and attentive. Thank you both very much!
I wish to express my sincere gratitude to Doctors Jayakrishnan and Namitha for their attention and sensitivity, which is greatly appreciated! I'd also like to thank the young people Bini and Aru for their help and for quickly resolving all other issues that arose for me as a foreigner! A wonderful and attentive yoga instructor, he often worked with me almost individually!
During my stay at the clinic, I gained strength and energy, and improved my health so much that those around me noticed!
My only wish is that the final consultation had included only a list of prescribed medications without a description of my dosage, recommendations for diet, lifestyle, and physical activity, which I would also have liked to receive.
Good luck to the clinic and prosperity!
