Ayurveda and yoga clinics in Rishikesh

What distinguishes Rishikesh

Yoga + Panchakarma

The cleansing programme is combined with daily yoga and pranayama practice. Rishikesh is the historic centre of the yogic tradition, and yoga is taught here on a different level than in resort regions.

Sattvic environment

Within Rishikesh, meat and alcohol are prohibited by law. The clinics prepare strictly Ayurvedic cuisine – without compromise or temptation.

How is the course structured

In Rishikesh, Panchakarma rarely stands alone; it’s usually combined with daily yoga and breathing practices. This is the historically established format of the northern school: working with the body and working with the breath run in parallel. The programme is put together individually after a consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor.

When to go

Rishikesh is located in the Ganges Valley, at the foot of the Himalayas, at an altitude of about 340–370 m above sea level. The best time to visit is September–April: it's usually sunny, without extreme heat, and pleasant during the day. In December–February, it can be cold, especially in the evenings and mornings, so this period is well-suited for those who don't like heat. The monsoon season is in July–August: during this time, there are frequent rains, humidity is higher, there are fewer tourists, and some centres may operate with restrictions or close for a break.

What's near the clinics

The Lakshman Jhula and Ram Jhula bridges with views of ashrams on either side of the Ganges, the evening Ganga Aarti ceremony at Parmarth Niketan, Vashishtha Cave 25 km from the centre, Maharishi Mahesh's "Beatles Ashram" and Nirgarh waterfall are all available in your free time between treatments.

Visa and logistics assistance

The nearest airport is Dehradun (Jolly Grant), 35 km from Rishikesh. An alternative is Delhi IGI with a transfer or train to Haridwar. We arrange e-Visas, manage the transfer booked by the clinic, and assist with check-in.
