Ayurvedic tours to India
An Ayurvedic tour to India is not an ordinary package holiday but an organised trip for a course of treatment and recovery: accommodation at the clinic, medical supervision, an individual programme of procedures, Ayurvedic meals, transfers and help with your visa. We select the clinic and the programme to match your goal — general health, detox, rejuvenation or work on a specific condition — and take care of the whole trip. All that is left for you is to fly in and focus on yourself.

What an Ayurvedic tour includes
An Ayurvedic tour is an all-inclusive package in which the medical and the everyday sides of the trip are already brought together. You get a ready programme agreed with the clinic before departure, not a set of separate services.Accommodation at or beside the clinic
A room of the category you choose on the grounds of the centre, close to the treatment block and the doctor’s office.
Consultation and medical supervision
An examination and determination of your constitution (dosha) on arrival day, supervision throughout the course, and adjustment of the programme according to how you feel.
An individual programme of procedures
The plan is built around your goal and your condition; what Panchakarma includes and how the procedures are carried out is described in detail on the main page.
Ayurvedic meals
A therapeutic diet suited to the season and your constitution, usually vegetarian, as part of the course.
Transfer
Meeting at the airport and transfer to the clinic and back.
Visa support and assistance
We will advise you on the e-visa, give you a travel guide and stay in touch in Russian for the whole course.
Types of tours
Ayurveda in India is not a single product but a range of programmes for different needs. The option is chosen along three lines: goal, duration and the level of the clinic.By goal
- General health and prevention — a gentle restorative course to “reset” and release accumulated tension.
- Detox and cleansing — a programme of cleansing for the body; more detail on the page cleansing the body with Ayurveda.
- Weight loss and metabolic correction — work with digestion and daily routine, not a “diet for a number on the scales”.
- Rejuvenation (rasayana) — restorative programmes for tone, sleep, skin condition and overall reserves.
- Programmes for specific conditions — for example, joints and spine or Liver; such courses are carried out under medical supervision and without promises of a guaranteed result.
By duration
- Short tour, 7–14 days — a wellness format, an introduction to Ayurveda, a holiday that does you good.
- Classic course, 21–28 days — a full Panchakarma: preparation, the main procedures and recovery all fit into this period. For deep work this is exactly the length Ayurveda recommends.
By level
- Budget clinics — authentic centres with a strong medical school and a calm atmosphere, without unnecessary frills. See our selection of budget clinics.
- Premium clinics — resorts and retreats with a high standard of accommodation and service. See premium clinics.
Where to go: destinations for Ayurvedic tours
Classical Ayurveda means southern India and Sri Lanka, but there are programmes in other regions too. Here are the main destinations we help you choose between.Kerala
The birthplace of classical Panchakarma and the most popular destination: the humid tropical climate is considered ideal for the procedures, and the medical tradition here is passed down through generations. The best season runs from June to November, including the monsoon season (karkata). More on the page Ayurveda in Kerala.Goa
A convenient option for a first encounter with Ayurveda: a beach holiday combines easily with a short wellness programme. Well suited to those who want to try the format first. More — Ayurveda in Goa.Karnataka
The state neighbouring Goa and Kerala, with authentic clinics away from the tourist flow — a quiet setting for a serious course. More — Ayurveda in Karnataka.Rishikesh
Northern India, the Himalayan foothills, the world capital of yoga. People come here for the combination of Ayurveda, yoga and meditation in a mountain climate. More — Ayurveda in Rishikesh.Sri lanka
A strong Ayurvedic tradition of its own, with resorts and retreats of a high standard. A good choice if you want to combine treatment with a high-class holiday. More — Ayurveda in Sri Lanka. We also arrange programmes in Russia — for those not ready for a long-haul flight.
How much an Ayurvedic tour costs
Tour prices are quoted “from” and consist of accommodation plus the clinic programme. In vetted centres, budget-segment accommodation costs from 66 $ per day and at the top end it reaches 500+ $ per day at premium resorts — for that price you get a complete package, not just a room.
What the tour price includes: accommodation, medical consultations and supervision, the programme of procedures, Ayurvedic meals and transfers. Flights and the visa are paid separately — for the flight we will help you find a suitable route and advise on logistics.
What the price depends on:
- The clinic and the level of accommodation — a budget centre or a premium resort, and the room category.
- Duration — a short wellness tour or a full course of 21–28 days.
- Programme — gentle wellness or intensive Panchakarma with a broad set of procedures.
- Season — high season costs more; out of season clinics often have special offers. You will find them in the section special offers.
We calculate an exact quote individually for your dates, destination and goal — the price of an Ayurvedic tour is always put together to match the request.
How the trip works: from enquiry to return
So that it is clear what you are paying for and what happens at each stage, here is how we organise a tour. This is the logistics of the trip, not the medical stages of Panchakarma — about the procedures themselves, read on the main.- Enquiry and selection — we discuss your goal, budget, preferred dates and destination. We suggest 2–3 suitable clinics and programmes and help you choose.
- Preparation and visa — we confirm the booking and dates, agree the programme with the clinic, advise on the e-visa and put together a travel guide.
- Arrival and transfer — you are met at the airport and taken to the clinic. On arrival day there is a consultation with the doctor and the determination of your constitution (dosha), after which the programme is adjusted to you for good.
- The programme at the clinic — a course of procedures, meals and medical supervision according to an individual plan; the doctor adjusts the programme as it goes, guided by how you feel.
- Return and support — a transfer to the airport, recommendations for the period after the course (diet, daily routine) and follow-up — we stay in touch after you get home as well.
Clinics for an Ayurvedic tour
We work only with vetted centres in India and Sri Lanka — from budget to premium. Below are the clinics we arrange tours to; for each one you will find the region, the level and the price per day. If you would first like to understand how to choose a centre, take a look at the clinic catalogue and guide.Frequently asked questions
Yes, a visa is required for India — it is issued electronically (e-Visa) and is usually straightforward. We advise which visa to choose and how to obtain it, and give you a travel guide; details are on the visa page. Sri Lanka has a simplified electronic entry system (ETA).
For Kerala and southern India the classic season runs from June to November, including the monsoon, which Ayurveda considers the best time for procedures. Winter (December–March) is comfortable and dry as well. We suggest the exact month to suit your destination and your goal.
The price is quoted “from” and depends on the clinic, the duration, the programme and the season: accommodation in vetted centres runs from about 66 $ per day in the budget segment to 500+ $ in the premium one, and that price already includes accommodation, the doctor, procedures, meals and transfers. We calculate the exact cost individually for your dates.
Yes. Many people choose a gentle wellness format: light procedures, massage, a suitable diet and rest, without intensive Panchakarma. Such a tour is a good way to get to know Ayurveda for the first time.
We work with guests from all over Russia — Moscow, St Petersburg and other cities; the most convenient way to reach Kerala, Goa and Sri Lanka is with one stopover. We will help you find a convenient flight and advise on logistics; you book the tickets yourself. Whichever city you fly from, you will be met at the airport and driven to the clinic.
Yes, we have genuine client reviews about the trips and the clinics — you can read them on the reviews page.
Yes, that is our main job: you tell us your goal, budget and preferred dates — we suggest suitable clinics and prepare a quote. The selection and the consultation are free.
We thank manager Olga Solovyova for recommending that we choose the «Atreya» clinic in Kottayam for treatment. Olga carefully accompanied us at all stages: clinic selection, paperwork, and initial consultations (assisting with translation). Olga approached her work with genuine care, sincerely worried about us, and rejoiced in our results. We always felt her support!
The clinic is excellent! All the staff: the manager, doctors, therapists, cooks, and housekeepers treated us like family. They created an atmosphere of kindness, care, and a sincere desire to help and heal us! Constant attention accompanied us from the first day to the last. After 21 days of staying at the clinic, we felt rested, rejuvenated, and full of energy. We definitely want to return next year!
My dream has come true in the best way possible, and I want to share my review and express my sincere gratitude to this Panchakarma clinic selection agency 🤍🙏🏻 I'll only be working with you from now on! On the very first day I reached out for help with selection, they sent me a list that matched my criteria. Manager Olga was in touch with me for six months!!! I planned this trip for half a year, and every time I messaged the manager, I received an immediate response. In the end, I chose Betsaida Hermitage.
My sincere thanks go in particular to Olga, who helped me get my visa in the month leading up to my trip. During this time, I also experienced some difficulties, but I was constantly supported. Great assistance was provided with transferring funds, bookings, and the entire organisation. As I was travelling alone and for the first time to India, I needed to feel some support, and from you, this support was felt from the first day I sent my message. Thanks to this, I travelled to India alone with an absolute sense of security ❤️ I wish your agency growth and prosperity, you helped me a lot!
I could also write a whole essay about the clinic; it's a beautiful, heavenly place! My Panchakarma took place in the summer (not peak tourist season), so the clinic wasn't full of people, which was just what I needed! I paid for a room without air conditioning, but I was checked into a superior room with a wonderful view and air conditioning 😍 All the staff here are very friendly and pleasant; I'm really impressed. To put it briefly: I'm very happy with my choice! The treatments are top-notch; all the fruits and vegetables are from their own garden. My doctor, Dr. Shayana P.S., is very attentive and considers every detail. The masseurs are just lovely. Everything has started to fall into place, the improvements are noticeable, my requests were heard and taken into account nicely, the approach was very individual (I also had additional tests done, which I recommend to everyone).
The hotel grounds are just like in the pictures. The rooms are cleaned every day, everything is clean and decent. The rooms are large, and the grounds are spacious with their own clean access to the ocean. Overall, it's paradise here; you'll definitely find yourself again.

Good day to all!
This was my first visit to India, to the state of Kerala, and the Ideal Ayurvedic Resort. I arranged everything through Panchakarma Club. To say I had an unforgettable experience is an understatement. From the very beginning, Nina, my travel agent, was in contact with me, helping me choose the location and organise the trip.
My two-week stay at the Ayurvedic resort was simply superb, from the airport pick-up to the treatments. The staff, service, and food were all top-notch.
I have looked at local Ayurvedic centres, and I must note that while there were centres of a higher standard, Ideal Ayurvedic Resort offers good value for money.
After two weeks of treatment, my general well-being has noticeably improved, my mood is better, I've lost excess weight, and my sleep, hair, and skin have been restored.
I left with the intention of returning to this place again…
In my review, I sincerely thank you for helping me discover India in the best possible way!!!
Good day. 🙏 Last year my husband and I did a Panchakarma course at Shanti Makaan, a 21-day programme. A wonderful centre under the direction of Dr Maurya. Good therapists — a special hello to Santoshi, she has divine hands ❤️
The results after Panchakarma: my insomnia went away, I have more energy and strength, I lost 5 kg, and my general well-being improved.
My husband had no headaches for three months; then they came back, but less often than before — he used to suffer from migraines. His general condition improved: more strength, more lightness, more joy, and he lost 7 kg.
The centre itself is in a good spot on a hill, with a mango garden outside the windows; monkeys and peacocks come by all the time, you can watch the wildlife. It is a five-minute walk to the river Ganges — a calm, peaceful place, just what you need for Panchakarma. A very nice young man taught yoga, his name is Shanti; after his classes we fell in love with yoga. Good tasty food, clean and well-kept rooms. All in all, the first experience was a positive one.
For all of which I thank the whole Shanti Makaan team and Olga, who booked this centre for us 🙏
